The Cabildo has received the project for the repair of the road to Los Hervideros, closed since 2021 because of the sudden appearance of a sinkhole.
The project will cost an estimated seven million Euros and involve work on the sinkhole, as well as reinforcement of five other key areas of the road that were identified during a technical study.
Cabildo Public Works councillor Jacobo Medina said “Today we have completed the first phase: receiving the project. Now we will focus on receiving necessary permits and open bidding to start works as soon as possible”.
